Save the Date: Rachelle & Aindreas

I posted my first art deco inspired sneak peek a couple of weeks ago on my social media networks (Don’t miss out, follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest!).

Rachelle, the bride, was pretty pleased; she described them at “amaze balls.” Can’t wait to ¬†design her wedding invitations!

Thank You: Shannon and Richard

The end has come, I’m blogging about Shannon and Richard’s thank you cards for their wedding. ¬†During each project, Shannon would tell me that she and Richard couldn’t agree on a design so I would create something new based on their top choices. ¬†Four projects later, I realized I could print more than one design and that’s exactly what I did for the thank you cards (I am so smart, SMRT!). What do you think of the two designs?

Wedding Invitation: Shelby & Grant

What a better way to spend the final hours of May than celebrating love?  That is just what Shelby and Grant did!  Friends and family gathered at EM Fine Art Gallery in Seattle, Washington to witness their marriage and I had the opportunity to design their all-in-one wedding invitations.  Congratulations to Shelby and Grant!  What do you think folks?

Wedding Invitation: Shannon & Richard

Remember Shannon and Richard’s save the date from last year? ¬†Well, Shannon loved my designed so much (let’s be honest, who doesn’t? :P), I became their official wedding graphic designer and got the opportunity to create their invitations, programs, signage, and beer koozies. ¬†They tied the knot last weekend and it was a wonderful outdoor wedding. ¬†Congratulations Shannon and Richard!

I didn’t get a chance to take photos of the printed programs or beer koozies, but hope the photographer took a few shots of each so look out for an update soon!

UPDATE!  Here are some of the professional photos of the program and other signage taken by Connie Feng Photography.

Save the Date: Shelby & Grant

This past winter, I had the opportunity to design save the dates for Shelby and Grant.  Shelby is one of the most organized brides I know!  When we started discussing the save the dates, she emailed me a word doc with the fonts she wanted to use and the look of the save the date.  It was a great reference tool during the design process.

Birthday Invitation: Harlee

In the Save the Date post for Shannon & Richard, I mentioned that the clients never select my favorite design.   Well, for this birthday invitation, Katie totally did!

In October, Katie approached me to design her daughter’s first birthday party invitations.  Her only requirements were to have Minnie Mouse on it and to use the Disney font.  Requirements fulfilled!

When I‚Äôm designing I always end up falling in love with one of my designs more than the others but my clients never seem to pick that one (my other designs are pretty awesome too, so it’s ok).¬† Not this time!¬† Shannon chose my favorite save the date. ¬†This is how it turned out.¬† What do you think?

Wedding Invitation: Brittany & Maurice

This is an exciting post for me.  This was my first wedding project since designing for my wedding, and a blast to create too!

Due to circumstances, Brittany and Maurice had a short engagement and married in NYC at the end of 2012.  Brittany contacted me to create the invitations for their Seattle reception since many of her guests couldn’t attend the ceremony.

Those banners are screaming, “We’re going to have a good time!"

I love the bride and groom figures on their party favors and thought it would be a great way to incorporate the New York wedding into the Seattle invitations.
